Falkons is a eight-piece rock band that combines the compositional artfulness of the late '60s with the eclectic sensibility of post-90s indie rock. 

Led by singer-songwriter Alex Wargo, Falkons shapes their melodic, swinging core around the personal expression of Wargo’s lyrics. Intricate harmonies and layered melodies entwine and enhance themes on Wargo’s ongoing journey to find beauty in the world by mindfully addressing difficult emotions and experiences. This deliberate depth combined with the indelible energy of horn-infused rock yields a sound that is catchy and complex, simple and sublime – Falkons squares the circle of tuneful sophistication. 

Falkons officially formed in 2022 when Wargo brought together musicians from other bands he'd been working with to capture an alchemy that could best express his musical inclinations.  Building on the basic rock arrangement (two guitars, bass, drums), Wargo recruited a horn section, pulling Falkons towards the vibrant sound he imagined. In spring 2024, Falkons released their self-recorded debut album, Safe Within A Dream, and they now play regularly around Boise at venues such as Heritage Social Club, Eastside Tavern, Shrine Social Club, and recently took second place at the National Guard Battle of the Bands held at the Egyptian Theater.
